Lightbox Character Design Challenge - the "Lightbox Crew"

A series of 6 character designs for the Lightbox Mystery Box character design competition (which I lost, due to late entry and none of my designs being finished). Illustrations were sketched in pencil, scanned and finished digitally in Procreate in the summer of 2020.
These 6 characters were designed to adhere to "magical girl rules," color-coding each character type to best emphasize their characteristics. Pink for the leader, blue for the bold one, yellow for the cute one, green for the smart one, and purple for the edgy/ mysterious one.
